Key points
- Use a carousel to show several products or packages; use a single rich card for one offer.
- Give every message a clear next step: shop, book, call or visit.
- Templates are reviewed before use, so prepare them well before the festival dates.
- Send only to customers who have agreed to hear from you, and keep the number of messages reasonable.

Don't forget the transactional side
Festive sales bring more orders, bookings and appointments. Clear transactional updates — “order packed”, “out for delivery”, “appointment tomorrow at 11 am” — reduce calls to your support team and keep customers happy. Add buttons such as Track order or Reschedule so customers can help themselves.
Make it personal
- Use the customer's name and the product or service they care about.
- Show a different card image per customer — for example, accessories for the car model they own.
- Give each customer their own link, such as a personal offer or booking page, through the API.
Planning checklist
- Three to four weeks before: choose the offers, pick the audience and decide the message category (promotional or transactional).
- Two to three weeks before: design the cards, write short button labels and submit the templates for approval.
- One week before: test every template on your own phone and tap every button.
- Campaign days: send at sensible hours, watch the delivery reports and keep your support team ready for replies and calls.
- After the festival: compare results across campaigns and note what to repeat next year.

Budget your campaign
Count the customers you plan to message and multiply by the number of messages each will receive. The price calculator on our pricing page shows the rate, GST and total for that quantity.
