RCS API and webhook integration

Send RCS messages from your CRM, website or application with a simple JSON API, and receive delivery reports and template approval updates on your webhook.

How an RCS integration works

Templates are approved once; after that your system sends messages and listens for events.

  1. 1. Template

Create a Basic, Rich or Carousel template and wait for it to be approved.

  2. 2. Send

Your system sends the recipients, the template and any personalised values to our API over HTTPS.

  3. 3. Deliver

The message is delivered through Google's RCS for Business service to recipients on launched carriers.

  4. 4. Webhook

Delivery reports and template approval updates are posted to your webhook URL so your system can follow up.

What you can do with the API

A JSON API over HTTPS for sending, plus webhooks for the events that follow.

  • Send template messages

Send approved Basic, Rich card and Carousel templates to one or many recipients from your own system.

  • Bulk and batch sending

Send to large recipient lists, or send different templates and values to different numbers in one request.

  • Personalised content

Fill template variables per recipient, and personalise button links and card images without new templates.

  • Template submission

Submit templates for approval from your system as well as from the customer panel.

  • Delivery reports

Receive delivery reports on your webhook and match them to the messages you sent.

  • Template status updates

Get notified on your webhook when a submitted template is approved or rejected.

Request API access

API documentation and credentials are shared privately with onboarded customers. Here is how you get them.

  1. 1

    Request access

Tell us which system you want to connect and your expected volume.

  2. 2

    Onboarding

We verify your brand and set up your account and RCS agent.

  3. 3

    Credentials and documentation

Your credentials and the full API documentation are shared with you privately.

  4. 4

    Test and go live

We help you test with your own numbers before you start sending.

Ask for API access

Send us a short request. It helps to include:

  • Your company and the system you want to connect
  • Your expected monthly message volume
  • Whether you need delivery reports on a webhook

Integration checklist

Have these in place before you go live.

  • A verified brand

API access is issued after brand verification and onboarding.

  • Approved templates

Every message is sent from an approved template.

  • Server-side integration

Keep credentials on your server — never in browser or mobile app code.

  • A public HTTPS webhook

An endpoint that accepts POST requests so you can receive delivery reports and template updates.

  • Opt-out handling

Honour “STOP” and similar replies and keep your own suppression list.

  • Media hosting

Images and video at public HTTPS URLs.

No-code option

If you don't need automation, you can create templates, upload recipient lists, send campaigns and download reports from the customer panel instead.
